Shipping Policy

Orders are shipped in the order in which they are received. An order is considered complete once all information for the order is received (FFL, FOID, FID, Permit, etc.).

We cannot ship ammunition to Post Office Boxes, a street address is required.

We reserve the right to choose the shipping carrier for each order. Shipments will be shipped via FedEx, UPS, USPS, or other carrier. Tracking numbers will be provided on most orders. Tracking numbers are not available on some shipments. 

Any order processed with a flat rate shipping amount or free shipping (Coupon Code, Promo, Customer Group Discount, etc) will be shipped by the carrier of Western Ammos' choice regardless of the method/carrier selected during checkout.   


All orders receive email confirmation of shipment and are updated on the Order Status page.

Expected Ship times

Our goal is to have orders shipped within 1-5 business days but occasionally due to unforeseen circumstances, orders can take longer to ship. 

Return & Exchange Policy

No returns on ammunition, firearms (see firearm transfer procedures ), and closeouts. No Returns or exchange for superficial damage to packaging as long as the actual product is not damaged.

All refunds and returns are at the discretion of Western Ammo. Please contact Western Ammo directly if you feel a return is warranted.  (435)  628-1254

If a return is authorized, the returned item(s) must be unopened and in original packaging to receive return credit. Returns or Exchanges must be arranged within 10 days of receipt. Any return or exchange initiated after 10 days will not be accepted.

A 15% restocking fee may be applied on returns and exchanges.  All individual product information is available on the product pages.  If you wish to cancel prior to shipping, there is a 10% fee since we will have already been charged a card processing fee.

Defective items are not warranted by Western Ammo. Returns of defective merchandise are subject to manufacturer approval.

When returning product we recommend the use of an insured and trackable shipper such as UPS or FedEx. Western Ammo does not refund shipping costs, or cover return shipping. We will not accept COD or damaged packages.
